Carbonized Bamboo Crochet Hook Review

Yesterday I received a set of carbonized bamboo crochet hooks from Crochet Creations. They were free, all I had to pay was $5.95 for shipping! I was very happy with the quality of the set. The sizes range from 2mm to 10 mm. I wasn't sure how bamboo hooks would feel, but they are smooth and the yarn glides over them with ease. Another thing that impressed me was their strength. Since they are carbonized, they are extremely strong and feel sturdy.

If you haven't checked out Crochet Creation, be sure to pop over and have a look. They have lots of free items, just pay shipping, ranging from crochet hook sets to cute stitch markers. There are also products and tools for knitters. I have their bamboo double point needles, and the set of circular needles. They are also adding new products all of the time, and you can find some really great deals.

I really enjoy working with bamboo. I work a lot with cotton yarn and it can be slippery with aluminum hooks and needles. Bamboo seems to have just enough "grab" to help me control the yarn easily.

Also you can get 15% off your entire purchase by using the coupon code "katscrochet". If you have a crochet or knitting blog, the site is looking for bloggers to review their products exchange for free products. If you're interested in this opportunity drop them an email. It's a win win!

Thanks for stopping by! What is your favorite type of hook to work with?
